Notes of Giving
Notes of Giving helps children ages 5-14 learn the world of music. Students learn about musical genres, music theory, music history, and playing piano. They will also participate in recitals that will benefit them and the community. All proceeds will be donated to medical research (another passion of mine) and those in need.

Beginner piano lessons are designed to learn notes, beginner piano play, and classical music favorites. This class is designed for children with no or little experience with music. Duration of the class is 30 min.

Theory classes are designed to learn music history and the music language. Students will learn the music vocabulary and topics such as melody, rhythm, harmony, form, pitch, and scales. Duration of the class is 30 min.

Recitals where students will share music pieces they learned and experiences they gained through their lessons. These recitals are held at community centers and senior living homes to benefit our community.
ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Karina Lily Arutyunov is fiftheen years old. She developed her passion for piano at the age of five. Karina won her first medal at the US Open Music Competition in California at the age of eight and subsequently placed numerous times at this event.
In 2019, Karina won first place at the Grand Prize Virtuoso competition in Salzburg, Austria. She was very excited to play at the Mozarteum and soak in the music history.
In December 2019 Karina won third place in American Protege competition and was fortunate to play at Carnegie Hall in New York.
In March 2024 Karina will be playing at Carnegie Hall again!
